Our July Customers of the Month are Mr and Mrs Le Vannais who added an Edwardian conservatory to their home.
The couple wanted an affordable, stylish extension that would serve as a new space for family time, so they considered several conservatory providers that could help make this happen. After reading our reviews and customer projects, they approached ConservatoryLand for expert advice.

Mr and Mrs Le Vannais wanted to enhance the size of their home with a conservatory that could be used for relaxation, as well as doubling up as a dining space.
Having discussed the different options available with us, including Edwardian and Victorian conservatories, Mr and Mrs Le Vannais chose an Edwardian conservatory. It is perfectly suited to all property styles, and it maximises the space while bringing in lots of natural light.
We provided digital images of their project, allowing the couple to tailor the size and customisation options to their needs and budget. Once they were happy with the final design, we manufactured and delivered their conservatory directly to their door, ready to construct.

Building Mr and Mrs Le Vannais’ Edwardian conservatory
Mr Le Vannais chose to assemble the conservatory himself with a self-build kit — one of our most cost-effective solutions — and did this during his spare time in just a few weekends.
The couple opted for ConservaBase — a base, floor and wall system custom-built to the exact size of their conservatory that provides safe and solid foundations.
Not only were all required fixings supplied, but the parts were colour-coded by base, frames and roof to make construction as smooth as possible. Mr Le Vannais used the plan provided and installed the concrete pads ready for the frames. He was delighted with the detailed and easy-to-follow instructions.
For the brickwork, the couple chose our rustic orange finish to blend seamlessly with the rest of their property.
They opted for a modern grey on white uPVC colour scheme, which complemented the other grey windows within their home. This was further accented with chrome handles for an entirely bespoke conservatory.
Mr and Mrs Le Vannais selected French doors, which are not only a secure option, but also create a smooth, airy transition into the outdoor space.
When it was time to choose the conservatory roof glazing, the couple went for a Blue Self-Cleaning, Solar Control Glass. This option requires very low maintenance, thanks to its self-cleaning properties. It also helps to regulate temperatures so that the conservatory is comfortable all year round. Mr and Mrs Le Vannais also liked that it’s a quieter option on days when there is heavy rain.
With the conservatory built, complete with a bench and dining table — the family can look forward to spending some quality time in it. Overall, Mr and Mrs Le Vannais are thrilled with how easy and efficient the whole process has been, as well as the final result.
